Role: Senior Microsoft Power Apps Application Developer

Type: Contract

Overview

Our client requires Software Engineers who have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team..

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Designing and developing Power Apps to support FWIN business processes
  • Implementing Dataverse as the primary data store for FWIN records
  • Designing and configuring Power Automate flows to support data validation, workflowautomation, and notifications
  • Migrating existing data from SharePoint Lists to Dataverse
  • Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process
  • Applying appropriate security roles, permissions, and governance controls
  • Collaborating with business users to refine requirements and iterate solutions
  • Producing clear technical and operational documentation, including:
    • Data model and solution design
    • Application configuration
    • Support and maintenance requirements
  • Delivering user training, knowledge transfer, and hyper-care support following deployment

Technical skills

  • Experience developing Microsoft Power Apps canvas/model driven apps and Power Automate flows
  • Consulting skills such as solution architecture design, and stakeholder management
  • Experience implementing governance policies for applications and data within Dataverse
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating across internal teams
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimise performance of complex workflows, application and data connections
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 Platform Base

Location of work: Remote

Length of contract: 6 months

Work Arrangements: Remote 40 hours per week

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance
  • Eligible to work in Australia
